The Aftermarket Data Standards course was developed to take you beyond basic usage and become the internal authority on ACES® and PIES®. It will sharpen your knowledge and management of the industry data standards and help you effectively use them in your day-to-day work. This in-person, hands-on, two-day educational program will have you working directly with the ACES and PIES data standards and their supporting reference databases, where you will build sample files to reinforce best practices and gain practical insight into supporting long-term product and sales strategy—not just daily execution.

Completing Aftermarket Data Standards is another step in earning your Aftermarket Content Professional (ACP) credential.

Outcomes
Students who attend this program will learn how to identify important digital content for products. They will become familiar with the Auto Care Data Standards spporting reference databases and learn how to effectively apply them within ACES and PIES XML deliverables. They will learn how to clean and correctly structure data to improve findability, accuracy, and buyer confidence which increases sales. They will identify where breakdowns happen—and how to prevent them—with sound standards and governance thereby reducing catalog errors and costly returns. They will earn 1.5 CEUs and complete a required course toward the Aftermarket Content Professional (ACP) designation, strengthening their professional credibility.
